WASHINGTON - Communicating with the President just got a little easier. You can now send messages to the commander in chief,  by sending a Facebook message to the White House. For the greater part of history, the only way to get a message to the President and the White House, was to send it in the mail. In the 1880s, the White House began receiving phone calls. And in 1994, officials implemented a way to send online messages through whitehouse.gov
