HONOLULU - The city is looking for 38,000 flower lei donations.  The lei will be placed on graves of veterans at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.  Each year, members of the Boy Scouts of Hawaii participate in their annual good turn day on Sunday. The scouts adorn the graves with American flags and donated lei.

Lei can be dropped off at the cemetery during visitation hours Saturday and Sunday between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.. The fresh flower or ti leaf lei should measure 20-to-24-inches-long before tying. The Mayor's Memorial Day Ceremony starts at 8:30 a.m. Monday.
