Former Hawaii telecom founder sentenced for tax fraud
Albert Hee was sentenced today in U.S. District Court to 46 months.
HONOLULU - Albert Hee was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court to 46 months. Hee was convicted of tax fraud in December.
Hee is the founder and president of telecommunications company Waimana Enterprises Inc.
Judge Susan Mollway is recommending a level 4 medical faculty due to Hee's ongoing medical problems.
Hee is also required to pay $442,493 in fines, restitution and assessments.
Hee is set to report to serve his sentence on April 4.
