50th annual Thanksgiving dinner

For the first time in three years, the Salvation Army held its free Thanksgiving meal at the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. And the event benefits both those who come to eat and those who volunteer to serve.

HONOLULU (KITV4) -- Thursday marked the Salvation Army's 50th annual Thanksgiving dinner -- a free meal for Honolulu's needy, elderly, and homeless.

Over 2,000 people enjoyed a delicious meal with turkey, stuffing, corn, mashed potatoes, and pie.
