Update 6/6:

A Big Island man who's been missing for 10 days was found safe on Monday, police said.

Hawaii Island police report that 79-year-old James Devore, who had previously been reported as missing on May 26, was located out of state and in good health.

Authorities did not say where they found Devore or who he was with. No other information has been released.

PAHOA, Hawaii (KITV4) – Hawaii Island Police are searching for an elderly Pahoa man who has been missing since May 26.

James Devore, 79, was last seen on Pahoa Village Road in Pahoa, around 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, May, 26. Investigators say Devore may be traveling in a 2018 blue Chevrolet Spark with Hawaii license plate number ZHB243.

Devore is described as being 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds with white hair, and blue eyes. He also has several medical conditions that require daily medication.
