A Kapolei father of three is dead following a motorcycle crash on Kamehameha Highway in Punalu'u.

PUINALUU, Hawaii (KITV4) -- A Kapolei father of three is dead following a motorcycle crash on Kamehameha Highway in Punaluu.

According to Honolulu police, the 55-year-old man was riding his motorcycle northbound at a high rate of speed. Upon initial investigation, crews determined he lost control of the motorcycle, was ejected from the bike, and collided into a rock wall. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
