HONOLULU (KITV4) - After a two-year hiatus, the second annual Hotel and Restaurant Show returns to the Hawaii Convention Center. Featuring more than 200 exhibitors and a dozen educational seminars, the show hopes to mark a turning point for the hospitality industry.
"This is huge," explained Jared Higashi, Vice President of Government and Community Affairs at the Hawaii Lodging and Tourism Association. "This is the first major convention that we are going to be putting on in the last two years."
Exhibitors range from all sectors of the industry, from product salesman, to robotic mechanics.
The last show in 2019 hosted nearly 4,000 guests, and organizers of this year's tradeshow are hoping for a similar turnout.
Especially after two years of pandemic complications, the goal is to reveal the latest and greatest within the industry, as well as allow individuals and businesses alike to realign on the same page.
The two-day event runs from March 30-31, and all attendees must work within Hawaii's hospitality industry.
