Big Island Police are still looking for 44-year old Ronald Kahihikolo. He's wanted after a crime spree spanning several days all over the island.
HAMAKUA, Hawaii (KITV4) -- A man wanted in connection with an attempted murder investigation in Ocean View has been spotted in the Hamakua area on Friday, Big Island police said.
According to investigators, the suspect, 44-year-old Ronald Kahihikolo, shot a 42-year-old woman on Mar. 7. The victim was able to run for help at the Ocean View Fire Station.
Kahikolo has been on the run since then, but was spotted in the Hamakua District on Friday.

According to police, Kahihikolo was last seen on foot in the area of Highway 19, near mile marker 40, in the Lower Kalopa. He was wearing a plaid shirt and jeans.
Kahihikolo is described as being 5’7” tall and weighs approximately 215 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Police say Kahihikolo is considered to be armed and dangerous. Authorities are asking residents and visitors to avoid the area while police search for the suspect.
