Honolulu Police warn of scam calls impersonating officers

HONOLULU (KITV4) -- Honolulu Police are warning the public about a phone scam where the caller pretends to be from the Honolulu Police Department, and spoofs an actual police station phone number.

The caller tells the person he or she is wanted on a warrant, and needs to pay a fine. Police have gotten several complaints about this happening.
