Katherine Kealoha and brother indicted on drug distribution charges
The indictment unsealed Tuesday also alleges Katherine Kealoha, the wife of now-retired Honolulu police chief Louis Kealoha, steered law enforcement away from scrutinizing her brother, Dr. Rudolph Puana, after police told her that he was buying cocaine.
Evidence in high profile Kealoha case is missing
Evidence for a federal high-profile corruption case against former Honolulu Chief of Police Louis Kealoha and his wife Katherine is missing. Honolulu Police confirm they've opened a theft case because attorney Christopher Woo, who was representing Big Island firefighter Jesse Ebersole claims his laptop and cell phone were stolen. Honolulu Police Department reports four suspects at this time two men and two women, but no arrests yet.
