New this morning, the number of measles cases in the US continue to grow. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirms at least 268 cases of measles since the first of the year. That's 40 more than what was reported last week. In all of 2018, the CDC reported 372 cases of measles in the US which was the second-highest number of cases in more than 20 years.
State lawmakers will hear a resolution asking Hawaiian Airlines to bring its customer service call center back to Hawai'i Tuesday. More than 200 employees lost their positions in 2007 when the airlines moved to the Philippines. Representative Bob McDermott who introduced the resolution says that it's time to bring those jobs back home.
KAUAI - The department of water is shutting down service for portions of Puolo RD from Hanapepe RD to Kaumuali'i HWY Tuesday. The shut-off will happen from 9pm-5am. Crews will install a 12-inch waterline. A water-tanker will be made available in the area while work is ongoing.

28-year-old Darren Corsilia is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl between the ages of 14 and 16, Corsilia is wanted by HPD. The girl reported it this month, calling him an acquaintance and claiming it happened multiple times in 2017. A $100,000 bench warrant has been issued. Corsilia is described as six feet tall, 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at (808) 955-8300.
The U.S. House Judiciary Committee plans to hold a hearing on the rise of White nationalism. This comes after last week's New Zealand mosque attacks that left 50 people dead. The suspect, Brenton Tarrant, cited a list of White nationalists as inspiration in his manifesto. The U.S. Center for Strategic and International Studies found terror attacks in the U.S. by "far right perpetrators" more than quadrupled between 2016 and 2017.
