Sacramento, CA -- (Sports Network) - Hamchetou Maiga-Ba and Kara Lawson totaled 13 points each, with Lawson adding six assists, as the Sacramento Monarchs handled the Chicago Sky, 83-73.

Rebekkah Brunson gave 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Monarchs, who have won two in a row on the heels of a six-game slide. Nicole Powell ended with 10 points, seven boards and three helpers in the win.

Jia Perkins poured in a game-best 21 points, doled out six assists and had three steals for the Sky, who dropped their second straight game. Candice Dupree finished with 18 points and five swipes, while Dominique Canty totaled 10 points in the setback.
