The island of Oahu in Honolulu County
* Until 1100 PM HST.
* At 746 PM HST, radar indicated moderate to occasional heavy rain
across the Koolau mountains and southeast portions of Oahu. Rain
was falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour and will continue
to cause nuisance flooding across southeast Oahu this evening.
* Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to...
Ahuimanu, Punaluu, Hauula, Waimanalo, Kailua, Manoa, Maunawili,
Kaneohe, Waikane, Kaneohe Marine Base, Waiahole and Palolo.
Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to
Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due
to ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.
Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle, or on
foot. Turn around, don't drown.
This advisory may need to be extended beyond 1100 PM HST if heavy
