The Board of Water Supply is asking all residents to conserve water beginning now due to the anticipated arrival of Tropical Storm Flossie. The BWS needs to fill its reservoirs and therefore needs residents to keep water use to an absolute minimum.

Residents are asked to use water from the tap for essential uses only – drinking, cooking and sanitation purposes – and to postpone water use for other needs until further notice.

Residents are advised to stay tuned to news reports for updated water information bulletins and advisories.

Maui County officials are also asking that residents conserve water Monday.  Water should be used for health and sanitation purposes only as a precaution in case water and/or wastewater systems fail.  All other uses should be delayed until after the storm passes.
