High surf advisory for south shores extended

HONOLULU -

The National Weather Service says a high surf advisory has been extended for the south-facing shores of all islands until 6 p.m. Thursday.

Forecasters say a large south swell will produce hazardous surf for south-facing shores Thursday afternoon.

Surf along the south-facing shores are expected to have 6-to-10-foot face heights.
