island of Molokai in Maui County...
At 1230 PM HST...radar showed moderate to heavy rainfall continuing
over central and eastern Molokai. The highest rain rates...about 1
to 2 inches per hour...were over the south-facing slopes near
Kamalo and over Highway 450.
Stay away from streams...drainage ditches and low lying areas prone
Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due
to ponding...reduced visibility and poor braking action.
Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle or on foot.
Turn around...Don/T drown.
A Flash Flood Watch is also in effect for Maui County through 6 am
This advisory may need to be extended beyond 245 PM HST if heavy rain
