University of Hawaii head football coach Norm Chow is reinstating two players who were suspended after pleading no contest to drunk driving.
Chow said Thursday he has decided to reinstate quarterback Cayman Shutter and punter Alex Dunnachie for the fourth game of the season - an away game against Brigham Young.
He says he's confident they have learned from their mistakes.
Dunnachie was ordered to pay $200 and take alcohol assessment and driver's education classes as part of his sentence. He was suspended for an indefinite number of games.
Shutter was arrested in June and pleaded no contest to DUI. He was suspended for the first four games of the season.
Chow says they have missed a lot and will have to work hard to compete for playing time.
