Hawaii beats So. Alabama to end season on high note

The University of Hawaii football team beat South Alabama Saturday night 23-7 at Aloha Stadium to end the 2012 season with two straight wins.
Both quarterbacks struggled in the game -- each with two interceptions a piece. Hawaii quarterback Sean Schroeder had one passing touchdown.
The Warriors, however, had a better rushing attack with 229 rushing yards compared with 18 rushing yards for the Jaguars.
Both teams also struggled with turnovers -- Hawaii had four turnovers; South Alabama had three.
Hawaii ends the season with a 3-9 record, 1-7 in the Mountain West Conference.
