UH Centennial Celebration

2007 will mark an important milestone for Hawaii --- the 100th anniversary of the founding of our University of Hawaii.

The UH Centennial is a celebration for our whole community to share, given the huge educational and economic impact the University has had upon Hawaii, and the personal experiences of the thousands of us who attended or graduated from it.

Island Television KITV4 has been designated by UH as its official media/marketing partner in the Centennial Celebration for 2007. We consider this partnership to be a real honor and know we will do a great job with the University.

The UH Centennial Celebration on KITV4 will tell the historical record of UH, introduce the people behind that that history, and bring the community together to celebrate everything that higher education stands for: curiosity, knowledge, discipline, dedication and a commitment to excellence.

Throughout 2007, we invite you to tune in to KITV4 Island Television for interesting vignettes and a primetime special, watch Island Television News for feature reports, and long onto this section often to see streaming videos and find useful links!
