'Weightless' Plane To Fly From HNL In October

A company that is flying passengers on zero-gravity experiences plans to fly passengers from Honolulu in October.

ZERO-G Corp. has scheduled a flight on Oahu for Oct. 3.

The G-FORCE ONE Boeing 727 plane has flown more than 6,000 passengers since the company started a couple of years ago.

The company said it has received requests to fly from Hawaii and has already secured reservations for the October flight.

The flight cost $4,950 plus 5 percent tax. The flight includes several periods of weightlessness.

The company has flown such celebrities as former astronaut Buzz Aldrin, performer Joey Fatone, Martha Stewart and scientist Stephen Hawking.
