A woman arrived at Ala Wai Harbor in a row boat Monday, completing her 99 day voyage from San Francisco.

Roz Savage came across the finish line for sailboats racing from California in front of the Diamond Head Lighthouse in her 23-foot rowboat after 99 days at sea.

Savage rowed for up to 12 or 15 hours each day. Despite complaining of a few aches and pains, Savage said she feels "absolutely fantastic."

When asked what she would like to do on dry land, Savage replied that she wants to wash her hair after months at sea without a shower.

Savage's boat is made of carbon fiber and is equipped with a satellite phone and solar panels.

Savage said she ran out of water half-way through her voyage and had to meet up with other sailors on a junk raft. She traded food for water, and both successfully made it to Hawaii.

Savage made her voyage with hopes to raise awareness of the ocean environment.

Next year, Savage hopes to make another rowing journey -- this time to Tuvalu and eventually to Australia.
