The National Retail Federation expects spending to reach nearly $20 billion for Valentine's Day this year.

Watanabe Floral in Kalihi prepared for those strong sales Wednesday, expecting to make 2,000 deliveries this week alone.

One man from the Big Island made his purchase early buying a bouquet for his late wife, proving that love never dies.

"You know, but she's with me everyday and I bought her some flowers. You know, just come tell her I love her," Duke said remembering his wife.

According to Watanabe Floral deliveries are sold out, but last minute shoppers can avoid the lines by ordering online for Valentines Day Drive-Thru Pickup.
