Board of Water Supply crews are responding to a main break at 137 Puiwa Road in Nu'uanu which has forced the closure of Puiwa Road, between Puiwa Lane and Polohi Place.

The break on the 8-inch main, which was reported shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday, has left sixteen homes without water for the duration of the repair work, which is expected to continue into Thursday.  The Board of Water Supply has set up a spigot on hydrant on the corner of Puiwa Lane and Puiwa Road for these customers.
