HONOLULU - The U.S. Department of Agriculture is recalling more than 12 million pounds of beef across the country.

The product is linked to nearly 246 cases of salmonella in 26 states. The CDC reports that four people have been affected in Hawaii -- from beef sold at Sam's Club.

Brand names like Cedar River Farms, Showcase and JBS Generic have been associated with the outbreak.

Recalled products were packaged between July 26th and September 17th -- with USDA inspection mark "EST 267."
