First-ever Hawaii resident inducted into blood donation Hall of Fame
It's called the Fresenius Kabi Donation Hall of Fame!
The first-ever Hawaii resident was inducted into the Fresenius Kabi Donation Hall of Fame Wednesday.
It honors people nationwide who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to blood donation.
Dustin Guillermo has donated 90 units of whole blood and always tries to recruit new donors.
He used to take his grandfather to dialysis twice a week and realized how important his blood donation is because it saves lives.
His license plates even read “DN8 BLD” - donate blood and “GIV BLD" - give blood.
