KITV, the Lilly Broadcasting ABC affiliate in Honolulu, Hawaii seeks an experienced sales professional for our Account Executive position. The primary responsibility of the account executive will be to develop new business relationships and revenue for all station platforms.  The preferred ideal candidate will have 2+ year of B2B experience with the ability to strategize and negotiate multi-platform sales projects.  We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter, team player, has a great positive attitude, is organized, creative, and can thrive in a fast-paced multi-platform environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, cold call, set appointments, and present and close new businesses to generate new advertising revenue.
  • Increase existing business on all station platforms (KITV, Me-TV and Digital) to achieve individual and sales team budgets in all areas.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Data entry in sales software for account management and organization.
  • Write marketing proposals and create power point presentations.
  • Communicate and plan effectively and be a great team player with KITV Sales Team, Creative Services, IT, and Newsroom.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of business to business sales experience
