Tsukiji Fish Market reopened in a new home in Tokyo.

After 83-years, the largest seafood market in the country bid farewell its iconic home last week, making room for a parking lot.

The new Toyosu market covers 407,000 square meters, making it 1.8 times larger than Tsukiji, which contained the world's largest fish and seafood market.

The "Daily Catch" at Tsukiji can reach up 700,000 metric-tons with sales up to $20 million per day.

For visitors hoping to experience the new market, the closest subway station is Shijo-mae station, located on the Yurikamome Line.
