HONOLULU (KITV) - All of this rain left behind by now Tropical Depression Olivia -- brings the potential for flash flooding, blocked streams and gulches across the state.

The National Weather Service warns heavy rain could cause flooding in areas that typically aren't prone to flooding. That means those living in low-lying areas, along the coastline or near streams -- should especially keep a close eye on the conditions.

With Olivia making landfall on Maui yesterday -- parts of of Maui County are already dealing with flooding and rushing rivers.

The Flash Flood Watch is in effect until later Thursday night.
