According to the National Weather Service, Tropical Storm Olivia dropped nearly 13 inches of rain in West Wailua-Iki Wednesday.
There are still some power outages to report for the rest of Maui County. Not only were there flash floods and road closures on Maui, happened on Molokai as well.
Maui Electric has restored power to the Hoolehua and Maunaloa areas of Molokai but about 400 customers on the east side of that island are being asked to prepared for outages throughout the night and into Friday.
Meanwhile, most of the MECO customers on Maui affected by pocket outages were resorted last night.
Another update, this time for students, Hawaii Department of Education says Kilohana Elementary School will remain closed tomorrow. --
2,100 residents in Maui County are reported to be in the dark.
