Weekend closures that may slow you down. Following information provided by the Department of Transportation: 

1) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND WORK)

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Waiawa Road overpass on Sunday, July 8, through Friday, July 13, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

2) NUUANU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Kamehameha Highway to Waokanaka Street on Sunday night, July 8, through Friday morning, July 13, from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Pali Highway Resurfacing project.

3) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two lanes closed on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between the H-1 Freeway and Kaai Street on Sunday night, July 8, through Friday morning, July 13, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for pavement resurfacing work. The westbound right lane will be closed from Kaai Street to Waa Street. Traffic will be contraflowed in the westbound lanes on Monday night through Friday morning.

4) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Makakilo Drive overpass and the Farrington Highway offramp (Exit 1E) on Sunday night, July 8, through Monday morning, July 9, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Kapolei Interchange Complex Phase 2 project.

Garden Island - Kaua'i

1) LIHUE (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closure on Kuhio Highway in both directions between Kapule Highway and North Leho Drive on Sunday night, July 8, through Friday morning, July 13, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for road reconstruction and repaving.

2) WAIKOKO TO WAINIHA (WEEKEND WORK)
Limited access for local traffic on Kuhio Highway between Waikoko and Wainiha on Mondays through Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., due to slope stabilization work. To view the limited access schedule, please click here.

Alternating lane closure on Kuhio Highway in both directions between Kuamoo Road and Kapaa Bypass Road on Sunday night, July 8, through Friday morning, July 13, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., for road reconstruction and repaving.
