Two man involved in the brutal Papakolea Park brawl plead not guilty

HONOLULU -

Two men plead not guilty in court Thursday for a brutal fight at a graduation party.

Last month's brawl happened at Papakolea Community Park.

22-year-old Slade Tuilata-Nakila faces charges of second degree attempted murder and assault.  He's still in custody, with a bail set at $100,000.

22-year-old Dylan Misiluti is also accused of assault. He posted bail at $25,000.

Both men had outstanding warrants.

Witnesses told police the suspects used a knife and metal baseball bat during the brawl.

Emergency medical services treated a 43-year-old man and 17-year-old boy for stab wounds. Three other teens were seriously injured.

Trial week for both men starts on September 3rd.
