HONOLULU (KITV) - President Donald Trump's policy of separating migrant children from their families at the southern border is making headlines in Washington, and it looks like Trump killed the immigration bill with one tweet he sent out this morning.

About 500 of the more than 2,300 children separated from their families at the U.S. Mexico border have been reunited.

One of them, 7-year-old Darwin, was separated from his mother at the border more than a month ago.

At least eighteen hundred more kids being held in in foster care and shelters across the country remain in limbo.
