HONOLULU (KITV) - Video from USGS shots the flow from fissure number 8 letting off into Kapoho Bay, that has been completely filled with lava.

The giant laze plume is produced as the lava flow hits the water in Kapoho Bay.  The plume is blowing inland It's recommended to avoid this area, as there are glass particles in the plume.

A satellite image taken about one year ago shows Kapoho Bay before the eruption.  Today it looks much different.

Radar images of fissure number 8 taken Sunday, show a weaker flow emitting.  However, Monday's images of the same area capture a darker flow, meaning it's grown in strength significantly.
