Big Island and Kauai tourism down following lava threat and flooding

Tourism on the Big Island takes a big hit.

"Garden Island News" reports cancellations may through July so far add up to about five million dollars.

Also bookings for hotels and activities are down about 50 percent.

And after last month's record rainfall, that same story reports tourism on Kauai is down between 10 and 15 percent.
