Students earn college degrees before their high school graduation through Early College program

A record number of Hawaii high school students are graduating from the University of Hawaii before they even finish high school.  

Sixteen students across the state earned college degrees before their high school graduation through the Early College program. 

The program lets high school students take college courses at their high school while earning credit for both schools. 

One student graduated from Hawaii Community College. 

And 13 students graduated from Leeward Community College.
