(USAV) - For the second straight year, University of Hawai'i men's volleyball players Brett Rosenmeier and Colton Cowell will represent UH at the USA Volleyball Collegiate Beach Championships, which runs May 10-12 in Hermosa Beach, Calif.
Last year, the duo placed fourth despite being seeded 10th overall. This year's field includes eight men's pairs from across the country including teams from Florida State, Lewis, Penn State, Pepperdine, Quincy, UC Irvine, and UCLA.
The event is part of the 2018 Team USA Summer Champions Series and also includes a 32-pair women's tournament, which includes a team from UH, sophomore Cali Bunn and freshman Presley Forbes. The winners will earn a spot to represent the United States at the FISU World University Championship.
NBCSN will air the women's finals on Saturday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. ET, and immediately afterwards the taped delayed men's final. Men's and women's pool play will take place on Thursday with the men's semifinals scheduled for Friday and third place match and finals on Saturday.
