HONOLULU - The Department of Transportation is closing the airport off-ramp starting from the H-1 Westbound.

Closures start Monday night at 11:30 p.m. through 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

It's all part of a project to remove and restore the overhead "departure" and "arrival" sign at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

The DOT is planning on replacing about 3,000 signs at and around the airport by the end of the 2019 summer.
