In an extremely hard-fought weekend of competition, in over 100 matches, reigning champion, Lee George (Mililiani) defended his title in the finals match Sunday afternoon at The Honolulu Club in Honolulu, Hawaii.
And 14 year old up and coming Racquetball player, Kamahele Britos (Manoa) won in a decisive battle against Leo Mier (Honolulu), more than twice Kamahele's age.
In other results Sarah Houghtailing (Honolulu) took 1st place in the Women's Open Division, with the 2017 champion Miriam McCloskey coming in 2nd, and, Janet Scheffer (Waikele) taking 3rd in a tough field of 6 Open women players.
Participants from California and Maui participated this year and for the first time a full Junior Divsion and Novice division of over 14 players competed on Friday night coached by Fran and Robin Transfiguracion.
