The University of Hawai‘i baseball series opener against UC Riverside was halted on Friday night in the bottom of the third inning due to inclement weather sweeping through Manoa. The continuation of the game been postponed to Saturday at 1:05 p.m. at Les Murakami Stadium.

With the possibility of further weather issues on Saturday, the second game of the series will begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the opener to ensure as many innings completed as possible. Tickets to Friday's opener will be honored and will become standing-room only during the second game. Customers holding tickets to the scheduled Saturday, April 14 game are welcome to attend to the 1:05 p.m. game  continuation on a standing-room only basis.
At the time of the stoppage, the game was tied at 1-1 with two outs and a Hawai'i runner at second base.
