Locking down parks and restrooms after hours due to vandalism
O'AHU - Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell say's he's fed up with vandalism at O'ahu parks and will be starting a program to lock them down after hours.
The city will be making sure gated parks are secure and restroom doors will be closed after hours. Cameras near restroom entrances will be installed and the city is spending 25-thousand dollars to hire a security company to secure the parks. The pilot program will include 25 parks from Sandy Beach Park to Aiea starting this month through June.
