Huge boulder rolls down hillside and lanes in the lanai at Lisa Tsutsuis' home on Kalawao Street in the gated community of Manoa Hillside estates.

The boulder crashed around 7 PM Thursday. No one was injured.

Tsutsui believes it came through her neighbors yard, bounced on the metal fence, crushed it, then came to a rest in the middle of her lanai.

"We're very thankful no one was hurt," she said. "My husband was in the family room and it kind of stopped before it entered the family room."

Tsutsui says they've never had boulders roll down the hill before, adding it has not been unusually rainy. She's trying to determine if there's a safety issue or if there are other loose boulders.

She now wonders if its safe staying in her home.

Honolulu Fire officials say another smaller boulder - about the size of a bowling ball - also came down. It damaged several roof tiles on Tsutsuis roof, then bounced into the neighbors property.
