Car hits pole on Kalanianaole Highway

Kalanianaole highway closed this morning between Aloiloi street and Ehukai street due to two downed poles. The Honolulu Police department says that a car was traveling South and went over the center lane, striking a pole. The driver fled the scene and traffic is rerouted to Laumilo street. The road is expected to remain closed until further notice. Police are currently searching for the driver.

    Police are looking for teenage runaway

    HONOLULU -  Honolulu police and crime-stoppers are asking for help in finding a teenager.

    16-year-old Jessica Rothstein was reported as a runaway in February of  2017.
     She's described as 5'3", black hair and brown eyes, and weighs about 105 pounds. 
     If you have information that could help police you're asked to call 955-8300 or star-crime on your cellular phone.
