The Air Tahiti Rangiroa Pro was called back on Tuesday morning in 6-8 foot surf with up to 10 foot waves.

"The surf has eased a bit from yesterday's epic conditions, but we still have solid waves on hand for the final day of competition," said WSL Hawaii/Tahiti Nui Tour Manager, Marty Thomas. "There will be plenty of high performance sections and barrel rides today."

The event started with a Round Three Heat 1, featuring Vehiatua Prunier (PYF), Heremoana Luciani (PYF), Eala Stewart (HAW) and Sheldon Paishon (HAW).

Given the conditions, and only 16 surfers left in the competition, the event is expected to complete today.

Monday's action can be viewed at WorldSurfLeague.com or the Air Tahiti Rangiroa Pro event page.
