The eastbound H-1 Freeway will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Sunday March, 4th, 2018 through Wednesday morning March 7th, 2018, between Kalaeloa Boulevard overpass and the Wakea Street onramp, according the Hawaii Department of Transportation.

In order to set and pour the overhead sign shaft in the H-1 median, a full closure of the highway is necessary to complete Phase 2 of the Kapolei Interchange Complex.

Those traveling on the H-1 Free way will be directed to Kalaeloa Boulevard via the Campbell Industrial Park/Barbers Point Harbor Off-Ramp.  Motorists will then be able to continue on Kapolei Parkway, Kamokila Boulevard, Wakea Street, and the Wakea Street onramp to return to the eastbound H-1 Freeway.

To help navigate traffic, Special Duty Police Officers will be on-site. First responders, TheBus and emergency vehicles are not allowed to pass through the work zone, and have been notified.

All roadwork is weather permitting.
