Pedestrian accident along Waianae Coast kills one; two injured

MAKAHA, Hawaii -

One person is dead and two people are injured Monday night, after a pedestrian accident along the Waianae Coast near Makua Cave. 

A 20 year old male was pronounced dead when paramedics arrived on scene while a 22 year old male is in critical condition and was taken to a near-by hospital. Another 20 year old male also suffered minor injuries but refused to be treated or transported to the hospital. 

EMS reported the pedestrians were hit by the car while repairing a truck on side of road.

Lanes are being contra-flowed on Farrington Hwy.
