PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii - Hokulea sailed into the waters of Pearl Harbor this morning on the first day of its ten day visit to the Rainbow Bay Marina. The crew was welcomed at Rainbow Bay Marina on Saturday Feb. 10th at 10 a.m. by the Puuloa community and the U.S. Navy. Hokulea paid tribute to historic cultural sites such as the Arizona Memorial. Hokulea will be here to pay tribute to Pearl Harbor as a historic cultural site, allow for more school visits, public dockside tours and a crew talk story event. Hokulea will also work with the Navy Loko Pa'aiau Fishpond Restoration. Island News Reporter Jordan Segundo will have the full story on Island News at 6 and 10.
