The undisputed featherweight champion Max Holloway (19-3, 15-3 UFC) will not be part the main event versus Frankie Edger for UFC 222 in Las Vegas.

The fighter out of Waianae suffered a leg injury during sparring and will not be defending his title on March 3rd.

It's the second time a meeting between the two in the octagon has been called off -- Edgar bowed out of UFC 218 with a facial injury.

The fifth-ranked pound-for-pound fighter in the world is riding a twelve-fight win streak following his victory over Jose Aldo in December.
