Ryan's Grill closes Saturday night; auctioning off everything

Posted: Updated:
HONOLULU -

Ryan’s Grill Honolulu, a favorite gathering place among Hawaii residents, serves dinner to its customers for the last time on Saturday, January 20. It has been a local favorite since it opened its doors at Ward Centre over 34 years ago.

Ryan’s made the announcement of its closure several weeks ago. It closes at midnight on Saturday.

Oahu Auctions has  a week-long auction online, which is underway and ends Tuesday, January 23 at 6 p.m. Pictures of all inventory items can be seen online and the public can get a personal look at everything in the restaurant by visiting Ryan’s Grill during their regular business hours.

Because the kitchen is still actively used, auction items in the kitchen will not be available for public viewing until January 23. The auction inventory ranges from wood and granite dining tables to Hawaii-themed artwork and vintage memorabilia, a wooden canoe, patio furniture, cookware, a full range of commercial kitchen and food service equipment. All other details are available at oahuauctions.com.
