PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii -

World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument is currently open to the public. In a statement, it clarified: "The USS Arizona Memorial program, internal museums as well as our historical partner sites remain open and accessible. We are able to maintain operations thanks to the generous support of our private non-profit partners Pacific Historic Parks, The USS Bowfin, The USS Missouri, and The Pacific Aviation Museum. The website www.recreation.gov which is normally used for online ticket reservations will not be available until further notice. However, reservations already in the system will be honored. All available tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial program will continue to be distributed to the public on a first come first served basis every day beginning at 7 a.m. HST.  Any additional updates to our operational status will be made via www.nps.gov/valr."
