WAIMANALO, Hawaii - Hawaiian Electric says more than 841 residents in the Waimanalo area were without power Tuesday morning due to a vehicle crash on Kalanianaole Highway.

The crash happened just after 5 a.m. in front of the Shriner's Beach Club.  HECO says all lanes in front of Shriner's were closed due to a downed utility pole.

No major injuries have been reported from the crash.
